For higher engineering colleges, experiment is a bridge between the theory teaching and practice activities. In order to improve the electronics courses experiment teaching quality, reduce the cost of experimental apparatus,to develop creative thinking and practical ability,we introduced Virtual Instruments technology into the teaching experiment to construct a electronic teaching experimental system.Comparing and analyzing the current popular architectures of Virtual Instruments,we used PCI plug-in data acquisition card(PC-DAQ)to form the hardware structure of the experimental teaching system for its better flexibility.Virtual Instruments stressed that "software is instrument" concept,so the core of this paper is part of software development.In the specific design,we used LabVIEW graphical programming language for the development platform and adopted the modular design.First We analyzed the system's overall objectives and function ,and defined the system's components and their functions to be achieved,then designed and implemented them respectively.This paper mainly completed the Virtual Signal Spectrum Analyzer, the Simple Two-channel Oscilloscope, the Typical Signal Generator,the Differentiator and Integrator,the Virtual Butterworth Filter, the Virtual Amplitude Demodulator, the Correlation Function Analyzer and maked them integrated the user interface of the virtual instrument experimental teaching system as the sub-VI,and Allowed users to easily carry out the circuit, electronic technology, signals and systems, automatic control theory's experimental teaching based on these instruments.At last ,this paper described the mehod of achieving the network communication by the LabVIEW's remote panel technology. And pointed out that with the rapid development of network technology, network and data sharing is the LabVIEW virtual instrument technology development trend.The results show that the experimental teaching electronic information system based on Virtual Instruments runs stably, and provided a good way for improving teaching quality and reducing the cost of experiment instruments.
