Nowadays Information is the development trend of the world economy and society. It is necessary to make a good use of the information technology to establish a highly efficient and well-coordinated working system so as to promote the identification of decision-making and the modernization of management. The information and automation of hospital medical administrative office affairs is reforming the traditional offices. Office automation system has already been the necessary tool for hospital routine work.In order to improve the efficiency of management and decrease the management cost, this thesis, based on the work management and long-term plan of Jinan Maternity and Child Care Centers, designs an office automation system by using the mature and advanced wireless network technology and SQL Server as the background database. It integrates the office automation system, service management system and wireless locating and tracking system.This thesis includes the following parts:(1) Office automation management moduleThe subsystem of office management includes the modules of browsing notice, browsing information, work arrangement, E-mail, network storage, management notice, information releasing, personal information and system management. This system analyzes and implements the tedious and repetitive routine work by man-machine engineering. It simplifies the workflow to a great extent, reduces the workload and realizes the cooperative working and modern office concept.(2) Service management moduleService management module includes material application system, information section management system, book management information system, logistic maintenance management system, customer service management, short message platform and HQQ. It sets up a service concept of patient-oriented, increases the communication between the doctors and patients, respects the patients’right, improves the quality of doctors and nurses, reduces the disputes between the doctors and patients and promotes the sustainable development of the hospital.(3) Locating and tracking management module Jinan Maternity and Child Care Centers based on WI-FI locating and tracking technology, apply the locating and tracking system to realize the dynamic and real-time locating and tracking of the relevant staff (doctors and nurses) and valuable facilities. The trend of personnel distribution is acquainted and the management efficiency is improved through the tracking of WI-FI mobile devices. In case of emergency, the person with tag can press the alarm button to send the signal to the monitoring office for help, thus the rescue efficiency is improved.
