The Design And Implementation Of Engineering Construction Project Management System For Tianjin MCC And Garden Real Estate Company

The management model of Tianjin Metallurgical Heyuan Estate Company is still extensive which complicates the process of task decomposition, plans distribution and progress statistics.Labor productivity and resource utilization are still far from displayed in the process of project scale.Some phenomenons, such as the relative lack of contract engineering, high-value, low efficiency, high input, low output, and unreal project costing, are occured in the project management process, which is prone to affect company’s profits.So it becomes an important issue to be solved for Tianjin Metallurgical Heyuan Estate Company to design a construction project management system.Firstly, this paper analyzes researches’background of the construction project management of Tianjin Metallurgical Heyuan Estate Companies, putting forward shortcomings in the process of construction project management existing in the similar domestic systems. Main business needs of this system are raised through system requirements overview, use-case diagrams and use-case specification tables.The system uses B/S framework. JAVA language and MVC design pattern as well as applies javascript for form data validation.JSP is used to show form elements while using struts2, hibernate3, spring2framework to encapsulate data.Functional modules of the system are designed by technical architecture,class diagram and sequence diagram.Finally functional modules are under tested.Task decomposition module, contract management module, plans distribution module, schedule entry module, progress statistics and reporting module and quality checking module are realized in the system.Task decomposition module includes budgets of materials and projects and work project’s maintenance.Contract management module contains the maintenance of contract’s information and payment, contract changing and progress maintenance are included as well.Plans distribution module includes the maintenance of program information and program type, counting plans maintained.Entry module of the completion schedule includes progress reporting, modification and removal, approving the progress reported.Progress statistics and reporting module includes the maintenance of progress reports and cost statistics.Quality checking module includes the maintenance of checking packages and items as well as problems’evaluation, statistics and dealing.At present, the system has been successfully carried out in Tianjin Metallurgical Heyuan Estate Company, which facilitates the company and meets the demands of construction project management.
