"Help class" TV show is a new form of the people’s livelihood news. It appears to the public as a independent section or as a section of the people’s livelihood news. Due to the characteristic of going deep among the masses, being strong in service and being quick in the rights protection etc, this kind of TV programs has become the most welcomed section of people’s livelihood news. Although with the power of the media and the public this kind of people’s livelihood programs solved the plight of the vulnerable groups to a certain extent, and being helpful in the protection of the voice of the vulnerable groups. But the problem of reluctantly power rent-seeking of the vulnerable groups still exists. The rent-seeking relationship between the vulnerable group and the media is different from the rights of rent-seeking corruption. It is a kind of unconventional social phenomenon, is a helpless choice of the vulnerable groups who are not able to solve the problem through a normal way on their own. Only with the attention and efforts of all the social classes, can the vulnerable group get rid of the plight of being lack of voice.In this paper, the phenomenon of the power rent-seeking of the vulnerable group in the "Help class" TV program is to study. The responsibility of "Help class" TV program is expounded in the aspect of social responsibility, vulnerable group speaking is advocate and at the same time humanistic care for vulnerable group are strengthen.Over the last theory summarizes the contribution and defects of "Help class" TV program, analyzes the social significance of such program. Although the essence of "Help class" TV is the power rent-seeking of vulnerable group, meanwhile considering their own ratings and economic benefits, but there is no denying that it helps in promoting the protection the voice of vulnerable group in a certain level.
