Research On The Formation Mechanism Of Urban Space Image Production And Symbolic Links

The Information Industry has become the backbone of a new economic era. By analyzing the new economic form of industry in the United States and other developed countries, we can see that, image media as the main body, dominant industry and industry chain have been completely shaped and becoming more and more perfect. In a traditional way, when language is the center pattern of the cultural, the production, circulation and consumption of language symbols dominate. However, in an emerging way, when image is the center pattern of culture, the production, circulation and consumption of the image symbols dominate, no matter in terms of quantity or influence.In the process of production of image symbols, the production of images symbols, as an important content, interests more and more people with the underlying economic value. It is a realistic question that how the production of image symbols successfully applied to the construction of modern urban culture, organizing urban space, symbol chain to form a new industrial chain. Therefore, I analyze Qujiang New District from the theoretical feasibility and practical experience, in order to discover the reproduction and recreation of cultural text from image media in the urban space and to identify the generation mechanism of symbolic links.
