This article through to the welding oscillator the domestic and foreign developmentcondition and the control system of the specific research, summarizes the welding oscillatorand its application in welding engineering, the structure and hardware and software research,combining the various welding process, design a kind of highly integrated welding swingdevice. The device has the horizontal and vertical two degrees of freedom, and the weldinggun or parent material before and after the move, can reach three degrees of freedom of thestereo effect of swinging. In this paper, not only design the swing device of mechanicalstructure, and the design of the swing of the hardware and software.The swing device has a welding torch swing and lift up and down function, machinebody is made of aluminum alloy ball screw and HG series of straight guide rail andarrangement of two stepper motor. Device control system design mainly completed the powersupply control system, the LCD display control system, the keyboard scan control system, SPIcommunication control system and step motor control system design. The main controlsystem control chip use two pieces of PIC16F877A chip, display use LCD12864LCD,keyboard for homemade4x4matrix keyboard. Device for power system using two modelsrespectively for86HC2P118(AC40V) and86HC2P80(AC40V) stepper motor and two setsof2M542-N type stepping motor driver. Software design of the control system is mainly inMPLAB IDE (v8.66) integrated development environment, using C programming language,and PICkitTM3programming/debugger and Protues ISIS software to carry out the testingand simulation.The device is provided with the swing speed, swing amplitude, time of stagnation, liftingheight and other related parameters through the keyboard scan input and LCD display,through the adjustment of parameters, can complete the swing function of swing machine.The swing device designed according to the laboratory welding robot linear slipway, via a two swing test in different pulse frequency of stepper motor rotation, promoting drift and swingamplitude error, the error values were in error within the allowable range, the experimentalresults show that, the swing device can smoothly, to meet the needs of different weldingprocess under swing demand, the device meets the design intention.
