The selected title of this thesis origins from the 10th five-year national defense pre-research project"The research of width scope jet-ink plotter", complete design and implementation of grating of tester mainly, reach to make use of it to realize and test about the quality of the necessary grating of the width scope jet-ink plotter finally.According to the actual demand for the grating of the width scope jet-ink plotter, the thesis make the quantization index of the quality of the grating, and then, confirm the overall structural design and materiality of the tester system of the grating further.In the whole architecture of the tester system, regard singlechip AT89C52 as the key part, utilize the single-chip to control Stepping motor to tow the grating to go through Small Optical Encoder, at the same time, make use of system measure circuit measure two routes orthogonal signal that Small Optical Encoder outputs, and then, transmit the measure data serially to the PC through singlechip. finally, compare measure data in the PC and judge the quality of the grating according to the comparative result.On the basis of the structure design above, the thesis, through researching and analysing deeply, adopt the small-scale integrated circuit in common, has established and finished the hardware design and software design of the grating tester system, has finished the systematic circuit board to manufacture, has finished the analysis, debugging and testing on tester systematic circuit board of the grating, and make the grating tester realized on the hardware finally.
