It is of great practical significance to construct stong and smart power grid.It willgive full play to the power grid in resource optimization allocation, and promote thecomprehensive, harmonious and sustainable development of national economy.Withthe giganticism and the heterogeneous network diversification of electric powercommunication network and the explosive growth of the multimedia traffics, thetraditonal bearing network based SDH technology has been unable to meet itsconsiderable requirements. The construction of information and communication, andthe further development to a higher level of ICT, will make the electric communicationnetwork to achieve better systematic effect.As one of the most popular technology at present.SDN separate the control planefrom the data plane, with the network virtualization, centralized control, flow control,QoS guarantee and fast fault diagnoses. All these can help SDN to change existingstatic configuration and the poor runing effect of electric power communicationnetwork to realize the evolution in the direction of ICT.SDN will be one of the bestchoice in deploying electric power communication network.This paper reserch and implement a electirc power communication networkverification platform which aims at sharing resources based on network virtualizaiontechnology and the programmability of OpenFlow network. What’more, run differenttraffic in different virtual networks to verify our system and isolation between differentvirtual networks.The main works are as follows:Fisrt, this paper introduces SDN technology represented by OpenFlow, includingthe mechanisem of NOX and OpenvSwitch.The flow table mechanism,the queuemechanism and the network virtualization mechanism of OpenFlow are analyzed indetail.Second, research the current situation of yongchuan power bureau network, andtest the network online status, analyze the disadvantages of the electric powercommunication network, and expound the adptability of SDN in it.Third, base on the researches above, propose an electric power communicationnetwork verification platform in OpenFlow. According to the characteristics of electricpower communication network, design in detail the network virtualization andcontroller and some simple applications in SDN are given; and the reliability of controller are analyzed.Finally, design sumulation platform to validate virtual network creation,resoureallocation,isolation,and the business of QoS. Test results show that SDN can betteradapt to the electric power communication network.There are the summarization and expectation in the end of article, with the furtherworks, it is expected to apply SDN technology in electric power communicationnetwork.
