Municipal Electric Power Communication Network Based On ASON

At present, China’s power grid is gradually enter a new era of national interoperability,more and more frequent exchange of information between various communication subnet.With the gradual growth of the scale of the power industry, electric power communicationnetwork as one of the three elements of grid security and stability, plays an irreplaceable role,its reliability is very important. Traditional power communication as a platform forsynchronous digital hierarchy, using the ring topology, its network scalability, a single modeof protection, reliability is not strong disadvantage widely criticized. ASON as a newgeneration of intelligent automatic switched optical network combines the features of thesynchronous digital hierarchy, high-capacity DWDM efficient IP data technology, GMPLS inoptical networks multiple access multiplexing, has a powerful recovery function, cansignificantly improve the network survivability.This article outlines the ASON technology interface form, connection type, developmentstatus and application of engineering practice now underway, for example, a brief analysis ofthe Huanggang power lack of communication fiber optic network as well as the reasonsgiving rise to such defects. ASON network with the basic functions of a brief introduction anda detailed analysis of my participation in the construction and management of the networkcore layer should have construction principles and protection.
