Electric Power Communication Network is a communication private network serving for power system operation which to ensure power system operation safe and stable.As an important part of quadratic system in grid,Electric Power Communication Network is based on transmission network.As the backbone in Electric Power Communication Network,transmission network is the carrier of production,dispatching,management and other services,whether of its operation safe and stable is directly relate to the reliability and stability for power system.Consequently,researching and analyzing reliability of power communication transmission network has a great significance to guarantee the stable,rise reliability and prevent potential risks.This thesis makes an introduction and summarization about current methods of reliability evaluation.Based on optical transmission network in Electric Power Communication Network with which voltage levels of substations and lines are 220 KV or above,then shows the availability of physical device in networks from the transmission cables and optical equipments in substations.A failure probability distribution model is established in this thesis,which is applicable to operating optical fiber cable in Electric Power Communication Network,based on existing Three-Parameter Weibull distribution.According to researching on national and electric power industry standards about characteristic indexes of two main kinds of cables in Electric power communication transmission network,three new influence parameters as deformation parameters,structural parameters,time parameters are proposed to weight characteristic of cable failures in Electric Power Communication Network.In order to achieve analyzing reliabilities of service channels,a new modeling method is proposed in service level after analyzing in physical device level,based on a higher generality mesh topological network instead of traditional circle networks or chain networks.First,importance of power communication services like protective relaying and dispatching automation etc are analyzed respectively considering service traffic load and channel capacity.Then,referencing for existing reliability evaluation methods of service channel,we can get a reliability calculation model for specific service channel in networks.
