In current media environment, different types of media have different ecological pattern, and also play different roles in the event of cyber public opinion.According to the basis of the digital technology, the media can be divided into old and new media; According to the theory of civil society, the media can be divided into professional media and citizen media; According to journalistic professionalism theory, the media can be divided into the official media and social business media. These media types are mutually intersect and overlap, a media can be attributed to the different types, and thus the role it plays in the process of the entire cyber public opinion formation is more complex and varied.Through the historical dynamic investigation of cases as corruption of government officials and pornography, we can analyze the cyber public opinion formation process: from the news broken of the forum, post bar and other new media, citizen media and commercial media, and then through the start-up effect of old media, professional media and official media, at last the priming effect emerges, forced the government departments was forced to respond to and deal with cyber public opinion.Based on the entire cyber public opinion formation process (sprout, prime, outbreak, subsided), we can find out that different types of media play all kinds of roles in the different aspects, such as whistleblowers, the initiator of the topics, pluralistic expression of opinion, gatekeeper, issue expander, opinion leaders. Mechanism of the cyber public opinion is in line with a trace of the linear loop model of cyber public opinion process, as well as the mesh model of cyber public hot opinion. |
