With the continuous development of China’s scientific and technological level, roadconstruction develops by leaps and bounds, the number of highway tunnel increasesdramatically, and the cost incurred by the lighting is enormous. In order to respond to the callof the national energy saving, tunnel lighting control system put forward higher requirements.At this stage the control mode of tunnel lighting control system is the sub-loop method. Butthis method cannot minimize the energy consumption of the tunnel lighting to meet the needof energy-saving. The paper puts forward a new type of tunnel lighting system combined withtunnel lighting control requirements and reduce energy consumption standards.Tunnel lighting control system needs to take various factors into account, this paperproposes a method of coding control for the features of highway tunnel lighting. The lightingcontrol network is built based on the fiber-optic Ethernet, RS485bus and ZigBee technologyfor the communication requirements of highway tunnel lighting. According to the lightingrequirements an intelligent light control algorithm is designed, intelligent light controlalgorithm consists of four parameters: brightness outside the cave, traffic volume, averagespeed and brightness of the cave. The system uses high performance LED lights, unilateralcontrol, bilateral control, sub-control and control of a single lamp can be realized throughcoding each LED lamp. There are three lighting control mode (manual control, timing control,and automatic control). A70W/47V drive power is designed, wherein the circuit includes theEMI filter circuit, the rectifier circuit, PFC circuit, the drive control circuit and the highefficiency LED lamp5parts. In this design, the PWM control method is appropriate.This approach not only provides a safe, comfortable tunnel lighting environment, andenergy-saving advantage of LED lights is also reflected in the Huang Sha ling tunnel ofXi-Shang Highway. The design provides a reference to tunnel lighting energy-saving controlsystem design.
