In the highway costs, highway tunnel lighting power consumption accounted for the vast majority of operating costs. Actually, the tunnel exist the situation of excessive lighting, excessive lighting is not only not conducive to safe driving, but also cause waste of electricity. As a result, it's meaningful for us to research the way to solve the problem of excessive lighting in highway tunnel.In the article, a method to solve the problem of tunnel over illumination is studied; intelligent energy saving system is designed. By collecting the light intensity out of the tunnel and the real time traffic flow in tunnel, the technology of Internet of things and fuzzy control is used to control the brightness of the tunnel, to achieve the control effect of "the higher traffic, the more lights open, the lower traffic, the less lights open" and "the more outside light intensity, the more lights open, the less outside light intensity, the less lights open", thus avoid the over illumination, realizing energy saving and ensuring the safty of driving.Firstly, this thesis introduces the Smart Energy Saving System of Highway Tunnel Lighting Based on Internet of Things which I researched and designed,including the structure of lighting energy saving system, and introduction of tunnel environment parameter acquisition method, and introduction of each subsystem of lighting energy saving system.Secondly,the design and implementation of each subsystem are described in detail, This paper introduces the design and manufacture of the illumination sensor based on STM32 and Modbus protocol and the design of the embedded control system based on Cortex-A9 in the light data acquisition system. To collect real-time brightness, the illumination sensor deployed inside and outside the tunnel. Embedded control system based on A9 for scheduling control subsystem, Timing collection of light,lighting energy consumption,traffic flow and other information,then upload the information to the remote server through the network.Thirdly, Fuzzy control theory is studied, and the tunnel lighting control algorithm based on fuzzy control is designed. Using data the embedded control system upload to server, through lighting control algorithm, to control tunnel lighting at real time, the illumination of the tunnel is changed with the change of the light intensity and the traffic flow outside the tunnel so as to realize the energy saving.Finally, system function test and energy consumption analysis is carried out. The function of illuminance sensor based on STM32 and Modbus protocol is tested,the functions of data acquisition and network transmission of embedded control system are tested, the function of web based energy consumption platform is tested, the effect of the tunnel lighting energy saving control algorithm based on fuzzy control is tested.Through the actual control of the lamps in the tunnel, the energy consumption is analyzed by using the energy consumption data before and after the control. Based on the analysis of energy consumption, the results show that the system is stable; energy saving effect is good and energy efficiency is high,the system reaches the design expectation.
