City street lamp has become an inseparable part in people’s daily life because it bring light for people to walk at night and provides great convenience for people in the nightlife.But the problems in the traditional way of control system for city street lamp must not be ignored,such as the backward control mode,low energy efficiency,wiring complex and inconvenient maintenance and so on.City street lamp control system also stepped into the automation control and information management mode along with the development of computer network, information technology and automation technology rapidly.This article proposes a new design scheme for street light control system,in view of the problems existing in the traditional control system of city street lamp.The core content is "wireless" and "intelligent lighting"."Wireless" refers to the wireless sensor network (WSN) which is composed of many highly integrated sensor nodes, supported by the ZigBee wireless protocols.It is a solution for the complex wiring of cable communication."Intelligent lighting" is committed to the lighting of human nature, scientific and rationalization.The solution of lighting using scene lighting mode and the brightness of city street lamp is controled by the light and the time control.The node of network selects the JN5139module as the node controller. The coordinator node with MC52i GPRS module is responsible for establishing the wireless network,receiving information from routing node and upload the information to PC,receiving the control command from the upper machine and so on.The routing node with TSL2550illuminance sensor module is responsible for the collection of illumination of lamps, upload information to the coordinator, receiving the control commands send by coordinator and make the corresponding action and so on.The development platform is the Jennic CodeBlocks.The emphasis of paper is the program implementation for the binding of the illuminance sensor, the process of information collecting and processing based on the above solution of lighting,control strategy and the support of software and hardware.The results of network stability and dimming tests in the laboratory show that the design can meet the requirements basically.The system includes the design and implementation of central controller which i is control the running of the whole system remotely done by the rest of the staff of the project team.
