In recent years,LED lighting has developed rapidly due to its advantages such as energy saving,environment friendly,long life time,compact size and so on.As the core device,LED driver heavily affects the performance of the LED lighting products.With the development of technology,the design of LED driver not only focuses on the basic electrical performance such as efficiency,but also needs to consider more applications request on health,intelligence and personalized requirement.The LED driver with good comprehensive performance will be more competitive.The linear constant current LED driver has the characteristics of simple structure and convenient control.It has advantages in cost and volume.And the single-switch linear constant current LED driver is the most attractive one.Based on the traditional single-switch linear constant current LED driver,this paper proposes an improved scheme to improve the flicker and efficiency problems,and develops a dimmable linear LED driver.Both PWM signal dimming and TRIAC dimming can be compatible with.This LED driver can cover the market requirements for efficiency and PF,and has more advantages on low cost and small size.It is very suitable for the development trend of integration and modularization.Therefore,this LED driver has very high potential for practical application.It will promote the wide popularization of intelligent LED lighting.
