Universal serial bus is widely used in the field of computer external devices,depending on the characters of easing of use,plug and play and hot-swapping. NowUSB is widely used in many fields, but since of the speed, it only used in the mode oflow-speed and middle-speed, it can’t transmit the high speed image data. USB3.0complete specification was released in2008, the super speed of USB3.0is5G-bps, itcan compare with the bus of the camera link and IEEE-1394.While the USB3.0hasthe advantage of plug and play and hot-swapping and the port is sample which mostof the computer providing. The USB3.0will became a tendency in the data transmitfiled, even replace the camera-link and IEEE-1394in same field.As the developing of information, Acquisiting the mass data with highly speed isbecome more and more important. How to transmit is an important problem which wehave to figure out now. This paper introduces the bus of camera-link, the bus ofIEEE-1394, then explain the theory of USB3.0and the advantage of USB3.0.Thisdesign implement the Acquisition system of mass data with highly speed based onUSB3.0. Producing the image data in FPGA, using the DDR2to cache the data, thenusing the USB3.0bus to transmit. Design the firmware to implement theSLAVE-FIFO mode transmit, design the application software to show the image andsave the image. The transmit speed can be2G-bps. This design use the RedundantArrays of Inexpensive Solid State Disks to save the high speed data.This design implements that transmitting the mass data with highly speed based onUSB3.0. That is meaningful for the Camera based on the USB3.0bus.
