With the continuous development of embedded technology,embedded-based indoor monitoringalarm system was Widespread concern by the people.In recent years,the wireless monitoring systemdevelopment was rapid with its convenient, practical, easy to install, etc.Not only widely used inmilitary, industrial, agricultural, and other occasions, but also went into people’s daily lives, bringingconvenience and information technology services to people’s lives.This article is designed with anARM9-based the indoor wireless monitoring alarm system, which implements real-time monitoringand wireless alarm.It has wide range of applications and development prospects in the field ofintelligent buildings, smart homes, agricultural greenhouses and aquaculture.This system is based on the Samsung S3C2440microprocessor, and use the Huawei EM310GPRS wireless communication module, use the peripheral detection to realize the indoor informationcollection (gas concentration, indoor temperature and humiditywhether a stranger broke into). Thesystem is mainly to achieve indoor home control, USB camera image acquisition, GPRS moduleautomatic alarm and also designed Qt interactive interface, allowing users to use and operate thesystem easily.Firstly, the paper describes the background and significance of the topic. Secondly, describes thesubject briefly and introduce the technical background. And at last, introduce the system designmethod from the two aspects of the hardware and software.The design of the ARM a small system,USB interface, touch screen interface, GPRS module, sensor module and home control module isimplemented in hardware.Built environment of embedded Linux system, including cross-Tools linkBootLoader, kernel configuration, kernel compile, and design human-computer interface based onembedded LINUX system and Qt/Embedded are inplemented in software.At the end of the paper,summarizes the final design of the entire system, discussed the problems in the system and foundpropose ways to improve it.
