Wireless Camera Monitoring System Based On Arm9 And Embedded Linux

The Internet phenomenon has added the opportunity to add inexpensive network connectivity to embedded devices. As a result, any device can now be made more flexible, useful, and often less expensive by designing it as an intelligent, network connected product. On the other hand, the monitoring techniques have been network-connected as well. This thesis proposes a wireless camera monitoring system solution with the combination of wireless network techniques and embedded system, and realized this solution by designing its software and hardware based on ARM9 embedded system.From the way of application, this thesis discusses the features of embedded system and wireless camera techniques. According to the functional requirement of the wireless monitoring system, it proposes the outline of the system, and designed a software/hardware platform based on embedded Linux system and S3C2440 embedded processor. Also, it elaborates the work of hardware design and PCB Layout.It discusses the bootstrap program and the clipping &configuration of Embedded Linux system. And it programmed the boot loader and applied embedded Linux in accordance with the hardware design. And then transplanted & configured the essential software packs. In this thesis, the key functions and processes that embedded system and wireless camera system concerned have been studied and the software for both embedded monitoring server and client have been accomplished that finally realized all the required functions of embedded wireless camera monitoring system. To sum up, this thesis will play an instructive role on the work of the application embedded system in the future.
