Reasearch Of Multi-channel Intelligent Calibration System

The process calibrator can measure and output a variety of analog signals anddigital signals. It is mainly used in calibration of industrial process instruments andmeasurement and calibration of electrical signals in the laboratory. The processcalibrator guarantees normal operation of the instruments and the accuracy of themetrological verification, playing an important role in modern industry. The research ofintelligent calibrator of multi-channel and multi-function is of great significance inimproving the accuracy of metrological verification and the automation and intelligenceof process calibration.This thesis does some research in multi-channel process intelligent calibrationsystem based on the calibration of instrument used in oil field. And the multi-functionand multi-channel process calibration system is designed and implemented based onNI’s data acquisition equipments.First of all, this thesis briefly introduces the research background, the meaning ofthe verification and calibration and the meaning of intelligent calibration. Then thedevelopment and research of the process calibrator are analyzed. The main content ofthe research is determined by the actual requirements.Secondly, the performance and the functional requirements of the system areanalyzed and overall design of the system and the realization method of hardware andsoftware are put forward. The hardware system is designed and implemented based onNI’s data acquisition equipments. The precision and scope of measured and outputsignals are analyzed, and then the specific implementations are listed. At the same timethe multi-function signal conditioning module is designed.Finally, the software of system is designed according to the actual functionalrequirements and the corresponding hardware platform. Calibration method andcalculation formula are introduced and the concrete realization of each part of thesoftware is given by means of flow chart introduces. The program of display andoperation is written in LabVIEW8.6, realizing the function of the measurement andoutput of multi-channel process signal, the measurement of natural gas flow, theverification of flow meter, the verification of pressure transducer and the verification ofindicator instrument, etc.
