Nowadays,the publishing industry is facing fierce competition,especially in atime when the digital publishing is developing so fast, the digital publishing productsare so abundant and the technology providers and platform operators are trying to takepart in the publishing industry, how to keep a certain benign development of livingspace is a big problem for traditional publishing. Grasping the emerging marketcustomers’ demand and providing personalized service could be the effectivemeasures to enhance competitiveness besides the long-term established brand andresource, as well as the experienced professional editing team. Meeting thepersonalized needs of customers by providing difference of the products and servicesis the foundation for traditional publishing enterprise to survive and thrive, therefore,how to take service as a basement, and to provide what kind of service in what kind ofway become significantly vital.This paper will explore the traditional press digital content service in our country,summarize the current situation, analyze the series of existing problems, and putforward corresponding solutions. The paper consists of7chapters; the chapter1and2are basic ones that will introduce the related theoretical basis and the research statusof traditional publishing enterprises digital content services. Chapter3will statecontent service carried out by the traditional press enterprises and analysis thecorresponding problems and the insufficiencies,Including the professional publishingcompanies, educational publishing companies, Ordinary publishing companies andother types of publishing companies to carry out the status of digital content servicesAlph. The Chapter4to7are the point ones, which will put forward correspondingsolutions: developing the digital contest resources deeply, building a platform fordigital contest service hierarchically, consummating the digital contest operationmanagement system, extending the publishing industry chain and exploring newmode of digital contest service. This paper aims at providing theoretical support forthe operating management of the traditional publishing industry and to be a certainpractical significance.
