Printing and dyeing industry holds the important status in our country nationaleconomy, as each year the printing and dyeing production ranks among the highestin the world, with an annual production sales volume growth faster. However, thelow overall level of China’s printing products, not high quality and added value,mainly due to the backward dyeing craft and equipment, the low level of automation,especially dyeing equipment parameters on-line test not keep up with, the low levelof integration and network of the printing and dyeing process parameters on-linemonitoring system. Therefore in this paper the supervising system of onlinemonitoring is developed based on the modern advanced technology of J2EE relatedtechnology, sensing acquisition technology, communications technology, PLCtechnology, database technology and so on to achieve online monitoring to criticalprocess parameters of dyeing generation process, in order to achieve the purpose ofreal time, accurate, remote, network monitoring to critical equipment, improvingthe efficiency of energy management, production efficiency and product quality, andreducing business costs.The overall architecture of the monitoring system of printing and dyeingproduction process based on J2EE is designed by the way of the combination ofreading reference and field research, with the system having two-tier structures, thelower of which is the lower position machine system based on PLC, that is theonline monitoring system for printing and dyeing production process, the upper ofwhich is the web-based remote monitoring system developed based on the J2EEtechnology. The key technologies of J2EE, the development model of MVC, strutsframe and PLC and so on used in this paper are outlined. The monitoring system ofprinting and dyeing production process based on PLC is developed by the designand development of hardware and software to achieve temperature acquisition and control, steam and water consumption collection. The system is applied successfullyin scouring and bleaching machine production line of a printing and dyeingenterprise in Shaoxing, Zhejiang province. The communication between IPC andmultiple PLCs, is designed and developed to achieve the communication betweenthe upper and lower layers in using rs485communication technology, according tothe special communication protocol of Mitsubishi FX series PLC and Java for SerialPort communication support. The business processes and functional requirements inthe upper position machine system are analyzed and the developed of the view,control layer, the model layer is designed and implemented in using struts frame andthe MVC model on the J2EE development platform. The basic managementfunctions of the system are achieved. The partial refresh of dropdown cascadingmenus is achieved by using Ajax technology, and the real-time curve display is alsoachieved by way of combination of Ajax and SVG technology. The test of thetemperature, steam consumption, water consumption on the scouring and bleachingmachine production line in using the system developed is successful, whichindicates that the system have achieved the function of remote online real-timemonitoring and the collection, save, statics, query of energy.
