With the successful operation of the Antarctic scientific expedition support platform developed by our country for the first time,our country has achieved a major breakthrough in the field of supporting platforms for polar distance science expeditions,and we have achieved certain results in remote data transmission and control in Antarctica.In order to meet the ever-increasing data transmission capacity and system data processing performance requirements,this thesis has optimized the remote monitoring system for the Antarctic expedition support platform of the project team.The main tasks include:1.Based on the analysis of the problems of the Iridium communication network,a modification scheme of the Iridium communication module using the Iridium Pilot instead of the Imoderm was introduced,and a combination of network redundancy and node redundancy was designed.The dual-network redundant topology network additionally designs a complete data processing flow.Through the test comparison,the results show that the optimized Iridium communication network has better data transmission performance.2.A flame detection function was added to the video monitoring module to combine the foreground detection based on the ViBe algorithm with the static features of the flame RGB color and the dynamic characteristics of the pixel gradient between frames,eliminating the interference of light and moving objects and effectively identifying the flame at the scene.3.The needs analysis and overall architecture design of the domestic monitoring center were carried out.The function planning and module division of the monitoring software were performed.The design of the software database table was introduced and the complete implementation of each function module was given.Finally,a detailed test plan was developed to perform terminal server performance testing,communication reliability testing,and monitoring software functional testing.The test results show that the optimally designed Antarctic remote monitoring system can meet the data exchange requirements between the Antarctic site and the domestic monitoring center,and can be operated reliably.
