nder the new media environment, the characteristics of sudden crisis events has become increasingly apparent, although the SARS event has gradually faded from the public view, but as the frequent in recent years, various crisis events, the crisis spread seems to start as a distinctive mode of transmission in the audience of the media in the life.New media’s open media environment is promoting the extensive application since the media in the audience, but the open independent mode of transmission and allows the audience to participate in or in trying to participate in crisis communication for delivering content judgment somewhat blindly. If Japan after the earthquake, the national "rob salt affair" event, the surface is the audience for the weibo content of blind trust and forwarding, but at the same time we also think it is a manifestation of the audience’s lack of media literacy, to a certain extent.Audience, confused in China through the summary of existing research and real life observation, we found that the college students in the current new media environment group showed more obvious characteristics, they can as the research object more realistic, therefore, this study aims to base on the communication and cognitive psychology related theory, to the east, west and central part of the university of college students, for example, through the crisis spread lies, outbreak, continuation and recovered four phases flow and information flow, flow and noise of three schools of detailed analysis, then aimed at college students’ media literacy in the instant, imbalances in the crisis spread and elaborates the characteristic fragmentation, intent on the basis of existing theory from three aspects:cognition, attitude and behavior to deconstruct media literacy concept. Finally, again through the data analysis of the relevant variables and interviews, the public crisis communication is obtained in the "characteristic" of college students’ media literacy, which in today’s crisis spread, although college students frequently contact with media, but online purpose is not clear; Media to participate in space is gradually expanding, but the participation motivation is not strong; At the same time, they use media, interpersonal communication mode of transmission need to be taken seriously. In view of the above conclusion, at the end of the research also puts forward the relevant college students media literacy education strategy in the crisis spread, Meaning and unique from the spread of the crisis to improve college students’ media literacy education.
