The public crisis caused by the COVID-19 epidemic,on the one hand,poses a challenge to the media's information collection,processing and crisis communication ability;on the other hand,the audience's demand for information and the use of media in the crisis environment are diverse and complex.In the process of crisis communication,the interaction between the media and the audience is likely to be misplaced.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the media usage characteristics and information needs of the audience in the crisis environment to reconcile the contradictions and deviations in the process of information communication,eliminate false information and rumors,and realize good crisis communication and information communication.Taking COVID-19 media agenda setting during the outbreak and audience of media to use in wuhan as the research object,through to the "People's Daily" weibo related information reports and agenda setting during the outbreak were analyzed,and the combination of wuhan region audience media usage and information demand of the questionnaire,the study found the media to report and spread of the crisis information,In terms of issue setting,narrative mode,media use,information standard,audience trust and satisfaction,it has misplaced and deviated from the actual needs of the audience.In view of the analysis of the problems between media construction and audience needs,the adjustment strategies drawn in this paper include: going deep into the reality of the audience,expressing from the perspective of ordinary people,grasping the change of audience needs,ensuring the accuracy,unity and coherence of views,and arousing the resonance of the audience.
