From the geographical advantages, Yunnan province bordering with a number of countries in South Asia, occupies a very important position in the economic and trade and personnel exchanges between China and South Asia. The research of "China News Weekly" South Asia Edition, as the political class English magazine China first entered the India and South Asia media market, jointly sponsored by the Information Office of the Yunnan provincial government and the Yunnan branch of China News Agency, was officially inaugurated in2010October.
