The goal of this project is to understand the generation and development of theInternet of Things (IOT), to study the structure of the IOT, and to explore theapplication of IOT. Our main effort focuses on studying radio frequency identification(RFID) technology, on the important issue of communication protocols, circuit structure,and the antenna design etc. Finally, an Internet of Things application-RFID-basedlogistics tracking system on this basis is introduced to make up for deficiencies of thecurrent IOT applications, thus promoting the healthy and orderly development of theIOT industry.The entire RFID logistics tracking system consists of three subsystems (ormodules): RFID card transceiver, wireless/serial communication module, the IOTsystem.The proposed system uses the13.56MHz, ISO15693protocol HF RFID card, cardidentity information decoded by the RFID card transceiver is issued through the serialport/wireless communication module to the base stations. The service base station isresponsible for the interconnection of things, i.e. the IOT. This subject proposes acomplete systematic IOT application solution with features from RFID card reading todata transmission and management, which improves the existing applications and alsopromote the performance of IOT applications.The paper is structured as follows: the second chapter of Things application anddevelopment of RFID technology first introductory section introduces the researchbackground of this paper, the main research content, research objectives andsignificance of research ideas and methods;physical network overview; Chapterelaborate RFID reader hardware circuit design, including the design of the RFID cardreader, RFID modem front-end circuit design, wireless/serial communication moduledesign; fourth chapter brieflysystem software design involves the basics, includingobject-oriented programming, Visual C++, Windows message mechanism, databasetechnology, and LZW data compression algorithm; Chapter elaborate logistics trackingsystem software design process, includingRFID reader embedded software design, system requirements analysis, logistics tracking system, user interface design, databasedesign, system processes and algorithms, embedded RFID reader software design alsoincludes the ISO15693standardSR RC400driver design, wireless communicationmodule programming serial communication module program design, data packet formatto develop, the command definition checksum algorithm; Chapter6describes theinstallation and testing of the logistics tracking system; Finally, Conclusiona chapter onthe subject of the work is summarized, and the Internet of Things applications prospect.
