Today’s society, with the development of the network, the number of clients of computers and smart phones continues to expand. More and more human-based soft-wares are designed day by day.What’s more, the lower costs of Internet service and other factors make the grassroots media becoming more and more popular such as the blog, micro-blog and so on.Headed to newspapers, radio and television, the mass media has been an unprecedented challenge.The new and interesting mode of communication--grass-roots media is blurring the boundaries of the senders and the mass of the news.Such unprecedented freedom one end is attached to a public’s carnival while the other to the ruffians’hell.Thanks to the network,the civic awareness in our country is growing,however,too fast.So many problems appear.We need a good environment so that the awareness of our citizens can advance In the right direction.So, I want to explore the grass-roots media--its definition, characteristics, advantages and problems.With the new media,deepen the awareness of our citizens in order to build a democratic and nomocracy country.
