With the social economic prosperity, people enhance environmental protectionconsciousness, so fume pollution problem has been widely concerned. The traditionalfume detection method can not meet the needs of social development. With thedevelopment of wireless communication technology, the application of GPRS in thefield of fume emission monitoring becomes feasible.A smoke detection remote monitoring system based on ARM, multi sensors dataacquisition and GPRS wireless network remote data transmission technology has beendesigned in this thesis. The system realize the function of remote monitoring theconcentration、temperature and humidity of urban restaurants.The main work in the thesis is as follows:1、A smoke detection remote monitoring system has been designed. The systemwas consisted of central station, remote monitoring terminal and GPRS wirelesscommunication module.The overall scheme adopted the ARM embedded systemtechnology, GPRS communication technology, multi-sensor data fusion technologyand the C/S framework technology of system central station.2、The remote monitoring terminal was designed and implemented. The remotedata preprocessing and transmission function was achieved by microprocessor ARMLPC2468and GPRS communication module M590.3、 The central station of the remote monitoring system was designed. AClient/Server structure was used to realize the function of data reception andmanagement in the central station. The data analysis software and the user interface wasdesigned.4、The results of test show that data collection function is reliable and accurate, thedata transmited by the GPRS communication module is correct, the C/S architecture ofthe central station working stability, the user interface to Working properly.The wholesystem achieves the goal of the design.
