Researching On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Guangxi Universities’Library Information Resources Sharing And Cooperation

Along with the rapid development of Internet and the increasing types of information resource, as one of the three pillars of colleges and universities and the very important part of national information resources construction, university library is not be able to buy all the information sources, owing to its own limited strength, neither to provide all the information to meet the needs of all users. Therefore, information resources cooperation and sharing between libraries has become the inevitable requirement of era development.This paper, based on the related literatures and investigations and studies, conducts a research on library information resources cooperating and sharing in Guangxi universities, viewing from the new public management theories and the perspectives of reforms on the libraries. First, this paper briefly introduces the paper’s research background, significance, research status at home and abroad, research ideas and methods and the innovation of the paper, then the relevant theories and concepts, then focuses on the present situation of library information resources cooperation and sharing in Guangxi universities, and then sums up the existing problems, and analyzes the causes. Finally, based on the successful experience of information resources cooperation and sharing at home and abroad, this paper puts forward a series of effective countermeasures and suggestion to solve the problems.
