What the topic researches is the information management system which belongsto the MES system planning project of some company. In addition to the maintenanceof the basic information, the key work of the system is the statistical analysis of datacollected by the test data collected by the car radio test system and the informationmanagement system. The result of the statistical analysis, not only contributes to thequality analysis of the measurement tools and the quality analysis of raw materials,but also helps to the control of the production process or the improvement of theproduction process.Based on the development thought of software engineering, a maintenancemanagement and quality analysis system for automobile radio which is friendly,practical and fully functional is designed and implemented on a full investigation ofthe basis of user needs. In order to support a large number of test-site data storage, thedatabase of SQL Server is used for storing data. In order to improve the efficiency ofdata query statistics, the classified data from production sites, is stored in the unit formodels. For efficient storage and access to field data, firstly the database is arrangedusing the Client/Server (referred to as C/S) mode. Besides, the test system stores theproduction site data to the database server through the database client on the computer,while the information management system is to access the database server by the wayof the remote access. When designing the database, it’s efficient for data processing toadopt the method for storing classified data by the model of the product, data views,stored procedures and triggers.The management system can be divided into two parts, which are themanagement subsystem and the data analysis subsystem. In addition to the basicinformation management, the management subsystem needs to complete theconfiguration of the test information, storage management, as well as users log on tothe system. The management subsystem is designed following the principle of simpleand friendly interface. In order to achieve the scalability of the system function, theinterface between the main form and subform is mainly designed. The data analysissubsystem can achieve the statistical analysis of data. The result of the statisticalanalysis is help to evaluate the quality of measurement tools and strengthen the control of the production process. Combined with the result of statistical analysisabout the maintenance data, the evaluation of the quality of raw materials can beachieved. In addition, retrospective information of the product favors the managementof the production process. To achieve a statistical analysis of the test data, the COMtechnology and dsoframer technology are used. The adoption of ProEssentialstechnology helps to achieve a statistical analysis of the maintenance data.
