SGM keeps putting quality management as one of the most important work for the company’s strategy level managers. It keeps importing production/manufacturing management and quality management patterns in advanced countries and emphasizes on the internal ongoing quality improvement. For this reason, the senior managers always support using the advanced information means to improve the company’s internal quality management level and efficiency.This paper discusses the development of car body manufacturing quality management sub-system in SGM’s entire quality management system. Based on software engineering principle and methods, it gives this quality management information system’s detailed demand analysis, software design and implementation. It focuses on discussing the system’s main developing target, car body size deviation control and management function, workpieces’torsion deviation control and management function, production line actual data analysis and processing function. From the view of system design, it discusses the above functions’relationship, main internal data processing flows of each module, and main internal programs’calculating function. Furthermore, it discusses this quality management information system’s programming and testing.This quality management information system uses client-server module, and the current test run is approved by the quality engineers. This system can cover the company’s all automobile styles, is flexible on data analysis processing, and totally meets domestic companies’administration characters and engineers’ real requirement.
