Logistics is one of main industries promoting the development of world economy, and one of foundations of national economy. During the daily production and daily life, a variety of raw materials are continuously delivered with logistics to meet manufacturers’ needs, and to ensure manufacturing processes are went all right. Meanwhile, products are different delivered to different markets to meet consumer’needs. Transportation is one of important parts in logistics. With the rapid development of modern logistics, the construction of management system of transportation information in logistics has been made a certain progress. According to the real situation of logistics transportation and the development of information measuring and monitoring for transportation in logistics, a wireless monitoring and measuring system with long-distance for transportation in logistics based on multi-technology integration had been proposed in this thesis. Computer technology, micro control unit (MCU) technology, sensor inspection technology, global system for mobile communications (GSM) technology, global positioning system (GPS) technology, radio frequency identification (RFID) technology and ZigBee technology have been integrated for wireless measuring and monitoring the transportation in logistics. A MCU is used to control all function modules. The temperature, humidity and vibration of the environment for cargos are measured using sensors. A GSM module is used for long-distance communication for the system. A GPS module is used to locate vehicles during transporting in real time. A RFID reader and tags are used technology to record the environmental parameters that beyond the thresholds and the loading and unloading information of cargos. ZigBee modules are used for short-distance communication and measuring and monitoring the status of loading and unloading information of cargos.In this thesis, the overall design and the architecture design of the wireless monitoring and measuring system with long-distance for transportation in logistics based on multi-technology integration are given. According to the needs, the system is divided into a vehicle module and cargo package modules. The functions of the system are designed in detail and the system’s workflow is given. The hardware used in the system is selected. The circuits of vehicle module and cargo package modules are designed, respectively. And hardware connection diagrams are given. SPI protocol,1-WIRE protocol and uart protocol are realized. The system’s software is designed too, which includes temperature measuring, humidity measuring, vibration measuring, reading/writing of ZLG500A controlled by a MCU, short messages sent by a GSM module, and data analysis of a GPS module. Finally, experiments are conducted to verify all designed functions of the proposed system.
