Passive radar which has significant advantages of the role of distance and invisibility, plays an important role in improving the viability of the system in the electronic warfare environment. Phased array technology is gradually applied to the design and development of passive radar due to the characteristics of its versatility, flexibility and high data rate. Resource scheduling module is the core of phased array radar functions, it makes phased-array radar accomplish multiple missions brilliantly by the rational management of system resources.This study carried out a study of passive adaptive resource scheduling algorithm and a design for processing system based on the characteristics of the work method and scheduling tasks to the passive phased array radar, it focused on detailed implementation process including passive searching, tracking strategy and Multi-task scheduling. Finally, the entire dispatching processes are completed by simulation and we gave the detailed analysis about the performance.The main work of this thesis is as follows:(1) theory analysis for the passive phased array radar, against the TWS work method of phased array radar, we focused on the implementation process and its characteristics of target search, target acquisition and tracking, gave the process flow of resource dispatching system.(2) analysis for the passive searching and tracking strategy, searching scheduling carried out based on the time domain, space domain and frequency domain. Choosing Subregional search in the time domain discussed the determination of the search frame period; Focusing on Wave-bit choreography and its optimization in airspace domain; analysis of the optimal scan bandwidth options depending on the target characteristics in frequency domain. Trace scheduling, including the least squares method for track initiation, kalman filter algorithm based on pure angle, and Adaptive rate algorithm strategy.(3) Analysis for the characteristics of passive adaptive scheduling, Establishing searching, tracking and lost tracking task model respectively and designing passive adaptive scheduling algorithm given the algorithm performance assessment indicators. Simulation scheduling efficiency analysis in accordance with the performance assessment indicators.(4)Adaptive scheduling system of the passive phased array radar design and the entire scheduling process simulation, the complement of passive scheduling system functions through the application task parameter generator, priority analyzer and scheduling actuators, focusing on the adaptive generation of the passive task parameters, task priority assessment and scheduling algorithms adaptive implementation. Relevant conclusions are summarized at last based on system simulation results.
