The beam agile capability provides phased array radar with high flexibility. By the effect of radar controller, phased array radar is able to adjust the working parameters, as well as switch working modes adaptively. To utilize its multi-function advantage, it is essential to manage and distribute the limited time, energy and other resources effectively. In this process, adopting efficient scheduling algorithms plays an important role for the optimization of the whole system performance. In this dissertation, resource management under tracking mode and task scheduling of phased array radar are discussed. Firstly, some filter algorithms in maneuvering target tracking, especially the Interacting Multiple Model algorithm, are studied. Then, an algorithm of time resource management in multi-target environment is discussed based on covariance control. For issues of task scheduling, adaptive scheduling algorithm with time window is discussed and its performance is evaluated. At last, an adaptive scheduling algorithm based on pulse interleaving is studied. Considering both time and energy constrains and using waiting period of dwell, this algorithm effectively reduces the probability of task loss, thus provides high hit value ratio and time utility.
