Design And Realization Of The Forth Party Logistic Management System Based On SOA

Because of the characteristics of logistic industry such as dispersion, dynamics,complexity and diversity, the informationization reform of logistic industry is ofimportance. However, the present logistic industry has much lower informationizationlevel and could not meet the international requirements which results in the seriouslimitation to the healthy development of domestic logistic industry in China. In recentyears, logitic industry transits gradually from the third party logistics to the forth partylogistics, so there are several new problems: what are the new requirements of the forthparty logistics? How to design the software structure of the forth party logisticsmanagement system? How does the remain system connect with the new system? Howto interact between the heterogeneous systems and so on. Thus, following the modernlogistics development trend, focusing on the existing problems in logisticsinformationization construction in China, research on the forth party logisticinformationization construction technology for domestic environment became theurgent affair. Undoubtly Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) provides a set of perfectresolution. In the forth party logistics, the resource, information and business providedby each third party provider is a series of service, which could be packaged by SOAaccording to service contracts and metadata module and define clear-structure externalcall interfaces, that is service method to shape several Services which could be issuedfor other entities visiting. The loosely coupled system structure just meets thecharacteristics of the forth party logistics.The thesis put forward the thought of constructing the forth party logisticsmanagement information system based on SOA, designed and realized a forth partylogistics management information system. The functions of this system covers thesupply chain management, order sheets management, logistics process management,storage management, constracts management, client service management and basicinformation management. The core of this system was constructed completely on thebasis of SOA, packaging and issuing the business logic and core services as Web Service for the requesting parties visiting. This method could low down the couplingdegree of each modules in system and improve the reusability, open and stability ofsystem, and be easy to update and maintain. Now the system has been put in testingoperation. The four-month testing operation showed the system has practicablefunctions and nice performance.
