In recent years, China’s logistics industry has entered a period of rapid development withthe accelerated process of economic globalization.The traditional third-party logistics lackscapacity in the integration of the society and global logistics resources. Logistics companieshave raised higher and higher requirements for informatization, integration and specialization.In this situation, the fourth-party logistics began to develop as the direction of thedevelopment of modern logistics.4PL provide integrated supply chain solutions, requiringtimely, accurate, and efficient sharing of information. Therefore its put forward higherrequirements to constructing the corresponding logistics information platform. Choosing whatkind of technology for build4PL information platform architecture and how to complete theinformation exchange platform shared with3PL and other systems become serious problems.In response to these problems, the thesis analyzed the basic functional requirements ofthe4PL information platform and studied the platform architecture.It implemented the keytechnologies of how to build4PL information platform and achieved its core needs on thebasis of learning domestic and foreign theory of4PL and its information platform.By analyzing the basic business needs of4PL platform and combining with today’ssoftware technology development status, the thesis found there was a certain degree ofsimilarity between the heterogeneous system integration requirements that4PL informationplatform proposed and Service Oriented Architecture SOA technology. So this thesis chose touse SOA and WebService technology to build4PL information platform. The service-orientedarchitecture SOA thought made businesses which provided by3PL and other systems as"services" and plans4PL information platform for the six tiers. This can be a good solution tothe reuse and integration of heterogeneous systems. Using WebService technology the thesisencapsulated the basic businesses "services" which designed with uniform service standards.Designing the private UDDI registry to complete the dynamic management of "service"registration and publication could solve the problem of information sharing between4PLinformation platform and3PL systems. The thesis also designed the security control strategyfor platform to meet the security needs.In conclusion, by analyzing the4PL platform requirements, SOA and WebServicetechnology, this thesis build the overall framework of4PL Information Platform and realizedthe needs of platform heterogeneous system’s integration.The better integration between theWebService technology and the building of4PL Information Platform in this thesis has acertain guiding significance for further completing the4PL information platform in the future.
