Office Automatization Design&Fullfill Of The Discipline Inspection Commission Of Xiaoshan

As information technology and the Internet are making rapid progress,information-based society comes into being. The informationization of governmentdepartments has become an inevitable trend. Government office automation plays asignificant role in the informationization construction of government departments.Changes have been undergone in the fundamental influence of the traditional practicesof government management. Government informationization is a prerequisite toeconomic informationization and social informationization. Government officeautomation system is one of the important elements of a country’s core competitivenessin the future.This thesis aims at designing and implementing an office automation system forthe Xiaoshan Commission for Discipline Inspection by applying J2EE technology inforeground and SQLServer2000for back-end database, whose main function modulesinclude document management, scheduling, file management, and personalmanagement, in order to, in some way, optimize the information management of routinework of the departments of the Xiaoshan Commission for Discipline Inspection,standardize government internal business process and make it flexible, and improve theefficiency of the work of government departments.The imperfect functions found in the process of developing the office automationsystem of the Xiaoshan District government are pointed out in this paper and will bemodified and improved during maintenance at later stage.
