With the rapid development of the market economy and the aggravation of theinternational competition, the management of the modern enterprises needs to improveconstantly. The construction of the enterprise informatization and the improvement ofthe daily management level are extremely urgent problems. The Enterprise resourceplanning (ERP) system has been applied in most enterprises successively, while thereare many issues for ERP implementation. How to gain the greater investment profit ofERP for the enterprises is also a key subject for enterprises informationization. With thevarious demand of the enterprise management, the implementation of the BI system willbe an important goal for the modern enterprise informationization construction.As a mechanical enterprise, Aerosun Corporation also faces the question, i.e, howto go deep into the information application. Business intelligence (BI) is a kind ofdecision analysis solution, which can provide effective data information for thedecision-maker through the raw data extraction, transformation, and the data displayplatform. Based on the in-depth analysis to the situation of the enterprise, by optimizingthe original data of the enterprise to simplify daily transaction processing, BIimplementation is able to improve the perceptive ability of the management staff for theoperational condiction of the enterprise.Combined with the practical applications, this thesis aims to find out BIimplementaitong method for modern enterprises based on previous ERP system. Firstly,the thesis gives a brief analysis about the background of the Aerosun ERP application,which describes the implementation of the ERP effection in detail, and puts forward theBI goal of the enterprise application and the system architecture. Secondly, the thesisanalyzes the technical route and key technology solutions of the BI systemimplementation in detail, in view of the enterprise application background, andananlyzes the business requirements and the functional requirements, the businessrequirements including financial analysis, analysis of the supply chain, production andcost analysis, human resources analysis and the demand and plan of the other relevantinformation analysis, and ananlyzes the preliminary effect of the BI implementation. Finally, the thesis has made a plan and illustrates for the design and development of thesystem, and depicts the implementation and testing of the system. The thesis also putsforward the personal opinions about Aerosun BI system construction and improvement.
