Production logistics plays a very critical role in the manufacturing company as onekey part of the whole materials logistics system. From what is understood from thelogistics attribute and manufacturing technology, an optimized and efficient system tocontrol the production logistics is vital for the manufacturing company when facing thecomplex operational noises out from the production floor. A real-time software systemto control and balance the tact timing from each production module will help to analyzeand solve the problems caused by the non-linearized production flow.This paper starts from the importance of designing a software system for the tacttiming control in the production flow of semiconductor industry, and then goes with aseries of research on the worldwide methodologies for the similar tact timingmanagement categorization. By combining the theory and practice, the dissertation iscovering the case study for the production logistics and its correlated design solutiontogether with a workable solution from software design perspective, to focus on thereal-time monitor and the response for the varied machines availability, and theoperational support from non-constraint module to constraint module, to build up themodel and validate its impact on optimizing the production tact timing control. Thewhole developing process includes:1. Through the study of the semiconductor company and the needs of its end user, thepaper clearly discusses the whole realization methods.2. Through the design of network framework, function modes, and data base, thesystem is initially built up.3. Work out the flow chart of programming out the key function modes, and integratethem together for optimization.4. Through out the unit test and final system test, the whole set of required testing iscomplete to assure the system stability..The application system is based on.NET developing platform, being developedthrough Microsoft Visual Studio2010in C#programing lauguage and B/S structure.The data base is built through SQL Server, and the E-R graph is firstly analyzed to understand the data relationship, which helps the real-time production cycle time controlsystem to sustain data integrity, perfect data transfer, user-friendly, and data information.This dissertation comes with lots of data from the new software system, and JMP, as themain tool for statistic analysis, helps to analyze those raw data and prove theimprovement on production tact timing management. The real example shows out thesemiconductor companies for better production logistics management thru the newsoftware system.
