With the development of Internet,telecommunication equipment and computer, thesoftware industry scale is growing. In order to meet the more and more high demand ofconsumer applications, software has become increasingly large and complicated.Software practitioners are faced with unprecedented challenges. Especially in China,although there are many program masters, but the overall level of the industry is still farbehind the United States and Europe. Most of the mainstream operating system andapplication software from abroad, the backward of software project management level isundoubtedly one of the main reasons that led to this phenomenon. Providing bettermethods and tools for software project management, and promoting the development ofsoftware project management is the initial motivation of this research.In this paper, in combination with process mining methods and software projectmanagement knowledge, the author first proposed the quantitative analysis method ofkey parameters in software project management methodology based on process mining.In order to a better use of data mining techniques for software management, combinedwith the white-box testing and process mining, a process mining model based on the testcases is proposed, expanding the data sources and applications of process mining. Thecombination of process mining methods and project management has provided avisualization software flow chart for software project management and reference datafor schedule and quality management. The combination of process mining methods andproject management provided a visualization software flow chart for software projectmanagement and reference data for schedule and quality management. The consistencyanalysis provides important quantitative data for the cost, quality and personnelmanagementA project is used for example, to verify the feasibility of process mining modelbased on test cases. Elaborate steps and methods of quantitative analysis method insoftware project management based on process mining. In cost management, theapplication of appropriate parameters can consider the modification time for completedwork in the process, supporting dynamic updates, and more accurate; Quantifying the software quality, providing data support for the quality management; Flow chart ofmining results combined with the gantt chart can show more clearly software completedprogress; Appropriateness parameters and tasks, to a certain extent, reflect thedeveloper’s ability and effort, and provide a basis for the performance appraisal oftechnical engineers.Finally, a real small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprise Company A isrepresented as an example. The author analyses the problems the company faced in thesoftware project management in detail. In project delays, loss of personnel and softwarequality issues, conducted in-depth analysis and discussion, to identify the root causes ofproblems. Combine with the actual situation of Company A and the proposedmanagement methods, suggestions for improvement are put forward respectively.
