ZigBee is a low-power personal area network protocols based on IEEE802.15.4standard,and the technology under this agreement is used to build a new technology of wireless sensors.This article used the technology in a temperature monitoring system, enabling temperaturemonitoring and data transmission, which makes temperature monitoring system with low-cost,low-power and flexible networking and other notable features.The system design is based on the Atmel’s ZigBee transceiver module and IEEE802.15.4protocol standards proposed, including sensor node, communication systems and PC monitorinterface.The communications system is developed based on IEEE802.15.4. After analyzingIEEE802.15.4and ZigBee protocols and in-depth understanding of the characteristics ofZigBee technology, a star network was built to achieve wireless transmission of data and tosend control commands.The Client’s design is based on VB preparation of PC monitoring software interface thatcan communicate via miniUSB and coordinating centers to achieve the whole network systemmonitoring and data collection.The system was tested finally. The system demonstrates that the solutions adopted toachieve IEEE802.15.4-based wireless temperature sensor network system. And the designedalgorithm, drivers, and application programs have good usability. Experimental results showthat the system can accurately monitor the temperature transmission to the control center.
