| The MPC8280is an advanced integrated communication processor designed forthe telecommunication and network markets. With a high-speed embedded PowerPCcore and unparalleled integration of networking&communications peripherals,MPC8280can be used to design communication and network equipments with highcomprehensive performance. Network interconnection is an important research aspectin network communication, thus it is of great value to study Multiple Service Accessand Switch Based on MPC8280and FPGA. Sponsored by the project named “networkcommunication controllerâ€, this dissertation mainly focuses on studying the design andimplementation of the Multiple Service Access and Switch Based on MPC8280andFPGA.First, it introduces the recent status of the study at home and abroad, as well asrelevant research background and significance of the topic to be studied. Then itprovides the design of multiple service access and switch based on MPC8280andFPGA,including the overall design and function units design. The Implementation offunction units used in processing board and interface board was deeply analyzed. TheATM controller, HDLC controller and Ethernet controller, based on MPC8280,wasstudied. The business processing modules such as UART module and ST-BUS moduleand TDM module to implement receiving and transmitting data and was obtained. Atlast, the design was tested and analyzed by the practical engineering application. Theresults show that the design meets the expected design requirements. Through test, thedesign was stable and reliable. It has been transferred to manufacturing stagesuccessfully and has good economic and social benefits. |
