Study And Application Of Business Intelligence On ERP System

Since the1990s, facing the challenge of Enterprise management and market demand, the Enterprise Resource Planning (Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP) times coming, ERP allocates and integrates the Enterprise resources reasonably, the management of Enterprise efficiency greatly increased. But most of the ERP system for enterprise business data basic on daily management which lacks of detailed analysis of the data processing functions. Integrated in the ERP in Business Intelligence (Business Intelligence, BI) technology is a kind of new information processing technology, the characteristics of the technology based on data information is extracted from the ERP system, analysis of data mining model is set up which can find out the valuable business knowledge hidden behind the disordered huge amounts of data, and provide decision-making support for the chief managers.This thesis systematically expounds the basic theory and basic methods on the basis of ERP business intelligence mining. Finally, a concrete application case is given in this paper. This article is divided into five parts. The first chapter is the introduction, the main topic of this background, significance, literature review, research contents and technical route. In the second chapter, mainly on theoretical knowledge related with ERP and business intelligence. Including the basic concepts, the theory and use constraints of ERP, the definition and architecture of business intelligence; making emphasis on the relationship between ERP and business intelligence. Third chapter focuses on the core technology of business intelligence, including the technology and methods of data warehouse and data mining. The fourth chapter and the fifth chapter is the core part of this article. In the fourth chapter, this paper analyze the ERP and business intelligence integration application pattern at first, which can be divided into direct mode, regular reports and data warehouse model three forms. In the article, taking the data warehouse model, extracting data from ERP system to construct the data warehouse, this paper do some integration design research about the ERP and business intelligence, mainly including the requirement analysis and theme determination, the structure analysis ERP system, and the design for date warehouse. On the basis of the existing ERP data warehouse system, this paper adopts double layer architecture model for design. In addition, this article also focus on analyzing the process and related algorithm model of business intelligence data mining based on the ERP. The fifth chapter is through the internship in the company’s project as the background, taking GD company’s proprietary supermarket business model for example, combining theory with practice, this paper expounds the application for ERP business intelligence and some details we should pay attention. And the focus of the paper is to make the application analysis of the data mining process for GD company’s proprietary supermarket card user. The final part is the summary of this article, provide preliminary study, deficiencies and the late effort direction in the future.As the Global Market’s competition becomes more and more fierce, the integration of ERP and business intelligence applications attracts more and more attention. The integration of ERP and business intelligence which can make the two sides complement with each other, lower information costs, and better use of the enterprise information resources, providing timely and effectively decision information for the enterprise, enhancing the enterprise’s competitive advantage, making the enterprise in invincible position. during the fierce market competition.
