With the rapid development of the meteorological modernization in the province, automatic weather station data play a large role in research in the short-term weather warning, forecasting production, weather services and statistical analysis of climate. It became the most urgent problem which need to be solved that how to process, statistical and analyze data in our Bureau of Meteorology based on our currently existing. Therefore, it is very necessary to develop a WebGIS-based data sharing platform of high-density automatic weather stations in Jiangsu Province. It is important to improve weather monitoring and forecasting services, meteorological disaster prevention and mitigation capabilities in our province through the construction of the platform.The main content of the system in this paper is:starting from the raw data, developed the automatic station data collection and processing software to improve data integrity and timeliness. Established the real-time efficient automatic station data center used advanced database system, a series of visit to optimization strategies were proposed to improve data access speed. Analyzed the different business needs in automatic station data for different users, and designed various forms of meteorological services products include graphics, tables and so on. On purpose of ensuring the timeliness of decision-making services, we made special custom for decision-making service products to improve the efficiency of the production. We enhanced the performance of human-computer interaction by RIA R&D service platform, so as to improved user experience.Based on the current situation of automatic meteorological station in our province and demand characteristics of data of automatic station, in the circumstances of Redhat Linux+Netbeans+Flex Builder+MySQL, we take advantage of database, WebGIS and Java technology to establish a data sharing platform of high-density automatic weather stations of Jiangsu Province which is based on B/S architecture, which provides all the meteorological operation apartment a convenient, real-time, efficient and accurate automatic meteorological station data sharing platform.This thesis mainly expounds data collection and processing of automatic station, construction and optimization of data center, algorithm of isopleths and color filling iso-surface, design and implementation of system in detail. Based on the summary of all these work, we analyzed the disadvantages of the system and put forward the developing direction of further research of this subject.
