In recent years, with the rapid socio-economic development and people's demand of meteorological service, for the purpose of improving the early-warning forecasting and service capability, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Meteorological Bureau Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Meteorological Bureau set up a weather disaster emergency ground automatic monitoring network which posed by thousands of automatic weather stations. As the network construction stage and automatic weather stations technology unceasing development, it caused multiple automatic network operation situations running independently and scattered. The lacks of a unified automated weather station data management processes and a unified service platform caused defects such as unified management, data using efficiency and maintenance difficulties, meteorological disaster warning linkage and so on.By analyzing the status and researching the related literature and books , for the business needs, the automatic weather station information-sharing application platform was designed relying on the meteorological telecommunication network in Guangxi .The system was structured by combining multi-layer Client / Sever and Browser / Server mode and based on Web development. By using the MapInfo to draw the map, choosing SQL Server to create the information database, then adopting the combining of ADO and ASP technology, the system was developed. As the automatic weather station data can be shared through the graphical intuitively, convenient and speedy, it provided a basic business platform for all levels of business units to get the real-time detection of automatic weather station data in time and to improve the forecasting services. It can also raise the overall technical support capabilities of the station and keep abreast of operation of the automatic weather stations, and then the efficiency of the automatic weather station's support system will be improved.
