The Design Of The Automatic Meteorological Station Data Query Mapping System Implementation

Guang’an is located in eastern Sichuan Basin where often rain heavily, it oftenoccur floods, landslides, mudslides and other disasters because of its specialgeographical location, which caused great harm to people’s lives and property. In orderto minimize the damages caused by weather disasters and improve our meteorologicalforecast and service ability to facilitate the timely and intuitive understanding of theweather data, so the automatic weather station data can be graphically displayedvisually, user-friendly query using.The project uses the popular Interface manufacture methods and map making tools.ASP.NET、MapInfo and MapXtreme.The main contents of this paper: Understanding the data’s storage form in theautomatic weather station server as well as the data’s connection in the externalplatform for establishment and display.Using ASP.NET to build a Data display systemfor displaying automatic weather station data collected.Using Mapinfo to establish thevector map of Guang’an, and mark all the automatic weather stations of Guang’an on themap.Taking advantage of the MapXtreme to achieve the rainfall, temperature displayand the stretching function of map.Main problems to be solved:The read of the database. How to read the real-timeautomatic weather station data and collect them by periods. Programming method ofASP.NET.The application of Mapinfo and MapXtreme, to complete the stretchingfunction of the map combined and Contour drawing with C#.Meteorological service has played an important role in the economic and socialdevelopment, national security and sustainable development, has penetrated into all theaspects of economy and society. Therefore, people’s requirements for weather forecastsare increasing; we have to combine weather technology with network technology inorder to provide better services.
