With the development of computer science and technology, image process and virtual reality has been widely deployed in real world applications. Meanwhile, the complexity in modern warfare scenario has required precision in the depiction of battleground in order to gain military advantage. In recent years, the computer vision and image processing technology development for military scene rendering provide a feasible solution. These techniques restore a panoramic view of the scene graph and3D terrain information through the military scene pictures. These methods provide important support to military scene analysis research, camouflage evaluation and virtual display.The key technology of military scene generation is the scene panorama formation and3D terrain generation. The scene panorama should include the entire military scene information and the3D terrain should restore accurately scene geometry information. In this paper, we have explored a comprehensive scene generation technique for camouflage evaluation, through which a precise scenario simulation is made possible by panorama and3d information, and implemented a system of such technique.This paper firstly introduces the research background of the generation of camouflage scenario. Then it explores the related techniques of the generation of camouflage scenario while building a system that supports such generation with the capability of2D panorama generation and3D terrain rendering based on images of military scenarios. Through feature extraction, matching and bundle adjustment, the system recovers the camera parameters of each image, and then builds a panorama through image fusion by seeking the best seam. A dense point cloud is obtained through multi-view matching and reconstruction and used to render a3D terrain grid with Poisson reconstruction. Finally, generate realistic3D terrain scene with the gird and texture. This paper described the architecture of the generation system of camouflage evaluation scenario, the design and implementation of each module as well as its user interface.
