With the rapid development of science and technology in various fields, military investigative techniques become more and more high-tech. How to improve the effects of military camouflage for maximizing armed forces, become a most important meaning of topic in the current military camouflage technology. However, the initial digital camouflage design is often based on the color and texture of the original image, according to its original shape directly converted into a certain digital square size which emphasis on color processing. The generated digital camouflage had considerable improvement in effect, but it only shows the information of the texture and color in a particular background. The mobility camouflage has not yet appeared. Investigation skills are multidimensional and intelligent in today’s modern war. Camouflage pattern design needs much more scientific ideas and methods to satisfy the high requirements and standards.In order to solve the design problem of camouflage method, combining the basic characteristics of digital camouflage and imitation. In the help of computer image processing technology, by extracting the background’s color, texture, level and so on. The thesis get a new solution to reflect the background characteristics of plaque.The design methods and innovation points are as follows:First of all, this article studies the digital camouflage can adapt to changes of the mountain environmental, can effectively resist detection precision instruments. Particular way is two clusters in a large number of typical mountain pictures. The method is that the first clustering to extract the main color based on in a single image, it is clustering to extract the main color after combines the first clustering to extract primary color representative again. Based on the principles of color belong to matrix selection second extraction main color are filled.Secondly, digital camouflage patterns will use the digital color piece unit per block filling all camouflage patches. Up, down, left, right is gradual change, the color change of the plaques do accord with the nature, greatly improving the close camouflage effect.Experimental results show that, using this method to design digital camouflage pattern can adequately reproduce the target background color and texture feature information. It is efficient to reduce the probability of detection so as to achieve good camouflage effect.
