Rotary joint is mainly used for conveying fluid between the fixed part and the rotating part,widely used in various manufacturing industry, such as metallurgy, machine tools, powergeneration, petroleum, rubber, plastic, cigarette, etc. Engineering machinery rotary joint is acritical component in the mechanical, its detection requires specialized test equipment, thedomestic detection equipment is not perfect. Enterprise common practice is to use simpleequipment, through artificial meter reading, manual fill in test results, not automatically detecteach instantaneous pressure, torque, rotational speed, leak case, the output test report, it isdifficult to guarantee the quality of products, the impact of product sales. Engineering machineryrotary joint test system is a school-enterprise cooperation projects for rotary joint factoryperformance requirements, test system design and performance analysis of research and testing,tested products to meet the requirements.Based on the related literature at home and abroad, combined with domestic andinternational engineering machinery rotary joint test system research, proposed the structuralscheme of the experimental system, the test system of the research content is determined. Consistprimarily of hydraulic control and drive the rotary part of the design and research, data collectionpart of the study, the electrical control design, as well as the test system PC softwaredevelopment.The test system uses hydraulic system loaded rotary joint, can guarantee the high pressurereached32MPa, Pro/E3D design of hydraulic manifold blocks, can be multi-angle observationchannel interference between them, effectively shorten the design cycle of oil block, and checkthe strength of the high-pressure manifold with ANSYS software. AMESim simulation softwareto establish the simulation model of hydraulic system for the performance analysis of thehydraulic components and system leakage when the curve of pressure variation. Considering therotary joint adjustable speed requirements, adopt servo motor through the gear reducer drives therotating shaft of rotary joint rotation, to test the required speed.Using STC12C5410AD microcontroller as the core, realize the pressure, torque, rotationalspeed signal acquisition and processing. Through the RS-232communication with the uppermachine, as well as application of MitsubishiFX2Nseries PLC to realize control of theelectromagnetic valve and electric, high and low voltage motor start-stop system, servo motorand reversing control and on-off control.Research and design of the PC interface LabWindows/CVI8.0based on virtual instrumentsoftware, realizes the whole test system collected data in real-time on the computer display,automatic generation of pressure curve, torque and speed curve, and can save the test data,through the provision of printing machine printing test table format. The test system design and research to improve the accuracy of the rotary joint testing,accelerate the speed of the test, the completion of the continuity measurement, precisionmeasurement, provides a reference for the research and development of test equipment fordomestic rotary joint.
