Research On The Microblog Transmission Model Of Public Emergencies

Currently，under the background of the social and economic transition, our country hasentered a stage in which the public emergencies happened frequently. Its great impact is directlyrelated to the safety of people’s life and property and the stability of society. So the transmissionof public emergencies, a special transmission pattern, has attracted considerable attentions ofsociety, which directly influences the response and resolution of incidents. Micro blog workedas a platform for communication to transmit public emergencies when stepping into the era ofusing it. Its characteristic is bound to have a great impact on the former transmission patterns.The transmission model on one hand, can guide the transmission of public emergencies inpractice, on the other hand it can inspire media, government, and the public to properly dealwith the emergencies in the new environment. So the study of micro blog transmission model ofpublic emergencies has practical significance. In this thesis，the author used qualitative andquantitative research methods to analyze features of micro blog which influenced thetransmission of public emergencies, the elements and links of the micro blog communication ofpublic emergencies. Finding that the actors such as the quick release of information,multi-information transmission, the node-based nuclear fission model of transmission broke thetraditional integration mode of public emergencies dissemination. Then it formed four uniquecommunication model of four periods, which are the outbreak period, the height, the remissionand the regressive period. During those four periods, the dominant position of communicatorand audience, the flow of information and the contents are different. The media, governmentand public should improve the problems existing in the micro blog communication mode of thepublic emergencies in order to properly approach the public emergencies.
